    • Confortable.

    A pound worth packing

"I used to pack a piece of tarp to sit on but eventually all my hiking buddies got one of these chairs. So nice to pull into a campsite and sit in a chair! Worth the weight."

    Fantastic chair!

"I'm not usually prone to hyperbole, but this chair is pretty fantastic!! I'm 73 and can't walk for more than 20 minutes without having to sit. Most chairs are too big, bulky, and require too much effort to set up/break down. Not this one! i cannot believe how lightweight, quick and easy to set up it is. In less than a minute, I can be sitting and letting my legs rejuvenate so i can keep going. This chair has made a huge difference in my life, because now i can go out and walk in the woods with my dog. THANK YOU for this GREAT CHAIR!!"

    Feather lite yet sturdy

"Very happy with the two chairs I bought. I searched for some time for THE lightest compact camp chair and believe this is it. So simple to put together and dries so quickly. Worth the cost."

I have four of these and they’re amazing

"I bought my first Chair Zero over five years ago, and since then have bought three more. The first one is still holding up. I was clumsy and allowed a fire ember to burn a hole in it last year, but with a small patch and some stitching it’s held up perfectly as before. I bring a chair backpacking, bikepacking, road tripping, and to various events and it’s the best lightweight companion that can easily fit in a backpack or messenger. Over time I have learned, if it’s muddy or sandy, the ground sheet is absolutely necessary to keep the legs from sinking into the ground. Attaching a stake + rope to the bottom is also indispensable as an anchor in high wind."

"Great Bikepacking chair. Lighter than my big Agnes. Does have some lateral shimmy. Does seem as stiff as BA chair. I worry about plastic parts"

    Q&A

How high is the seat from the ground level
Hello! The Chair Zero has a seat height of 17cm/ 6.5 in
The chair is great and really light, so light that the wind picked the chair up and it fell into a fire pit and melted the nylon fabric part of the chair. Am I able to just purchase the fabric seating part of the chair? The leg structure is fine but the seat is melted. The chair is the zero.
Hey Tammy, we are working on putting up on Helinox.ca parts for sale such as the fabric chair section in the coming month. We are hoping that in March they will be available for purchase, so please check back. Thanks
Hello. Does the Chair Zero have a rocking attachment? Thank you.
Hi David, Unfortunately, there is no rocking feet model available for the Chair Zero at the moment.
What kind of materials and fabrics are you using for this chair? Are there any harmful chemicals like PFCs involved?
Hi Buff, The skin on our Chair Zero is made of 100D Poly Ripstop while the frame is made of DAC alluminium, no harmful chemicals or materials are used.
Q: Will you be making more chair zero's soon?
Hi Yvette, more Chair Zero's will be available soon. I would recommend you to sign up for our back in stock notification. You will then receive an email as soon as the chair is back in stock.
